YPP Eligibility Requirements

YouTube offers two tiers of partnership with different requirements and benefits:

Entry Tier

Expanded YPP

Access to fan funding features:

  • 500 subscribers
  • 3 public uploads in last 90 days
  • PLUS one of:
  • 3,000 public watch hours (12 months)
  • OR 3M Shorts views (90 days)
Full Access

Standard YPP

Access to all monetization features:

  • 1,000 subscribers
  • PLUS one of:
  • 4,000 public watch hours (12 months)
  • OR 10M Shorts views (90 days)

  • Follow YouTube's monetization policies
  • Live in a country where YPP is available
  • Have no active Community Guidelines strikes
