Definition

A Brand Account is a YouTube channel type managed through Google Brand Accounts, allowing multiple users to manage a channel without sharing personal Google credentials. Ideal for businesses, teams, and creators who need collaborative management.

Permission Levels

Creating a Brand Account Channel

  1. Go to YouTube settings
  2. Click "Add or manage your channel(s)"
  3. Click "Create a channel"
  4. Choose "Use a custom name" (creates Brand Account)
  5. Enter your channel name

Converting Existing Channel

You can move an existing personal channel to a Brand Account through YouTube settings → Advanced settings → Move channel to a Brand Account.
